For more than 55 years, Beartooth RC&D has provided business technical assistance and community development services in South Central Montana. We know the ins and outs of community and economic development, and our knowledge can make the difference between a successful, well-planned project and a costly one.
History

1969 - Beartooth RC&D begins as a unique partnership with the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to serve Carbon and Stillwater Counties

1990 - Sweet Grass County is added to the service area

1991 - Yellowstone County is added to the service area

1993 - Big Horn County is added to the service area

1996 - Montana Department of Commerce designation as a Certified Regional Development Corporation

1996 - Economic Development Administration designation as an Economic Development District

1998-Revolving Loan Funds (RLF)

2004- Food and Ag Development Centers (FAAC)

2011 - Moved away from the NRCS model

Methodology
